We are currently working on several projects, including grassroots sensitization efforts against period stigma in Africa.

What We Do?

We’re On A Mission To Solve
These Problems

Period Stigma:

TUGN works to challenge the cultural and societal shame surrounding menstruation by encouraging open dialogue and storytelling. By normalizing conversations about periods, we aim to create a society where menstruation is no longer a source of embarrassment for girls and women.

Menstrual Literacy:

TUGN promotes inclusive, experience-based menstrual education that goes beyond facts and statistics, supporting women and girls to understand and embrace menstruation as natural.

Social Exclusion:

TUGN uses storytelling and shared experiences to support women and girls in feeling acknowledged, respected, and empowered, enabling them to set and achieve their goals without being inhibited by period-related challenges.

Education:

Menstrual challenges cause many girls to miss school or drop out entirely, limiting their educational and future opportunities. TUGN encourages conversations around this issue to foster a world where girls do not miss out on education because of period-related challenges.

How Can You Help?
